The Scholarship Giveaway will begin with ScholarSite.com's live date of November 10, 2000, and will continue indefinitely or until TIYM, in its sole discretion, chooses to suspend or cancel the same.

Eligibility: Contest is open to all persons who have successfully completed the registration form or have mailed or faxed an entry to the address/number noted below, and will be awarded based on the criteria outlined in the Scholarship Giveaway description. Employees, officers, and directors of TIYM, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

How to enter: You may enter the contest in one of three ways:
1.Online: You must successfully complete the registration form.
2.By Fax: Send to 703-356-0787. Include your name, address, e-mail
address, phone number, academic level and interest, date of birth, and school name. 3.By Mail: Using a 4" x 6" card, type or legibly print the words "Scholarship
Giveaway" along with your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, academic level and interest, date of birth, and school name and mail entry to:

All entries become the exclusive property of TIYM and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Participants shall not tamper, copy, modify, or corrupt the administration, security, or proper function of any part of TIYM Publishing Co., Inc. Entries generated by robots or scripts are considered to be a direct violation of contest policy and will result in immediate disqualification of any and all associated entries. Internet access and usage charges applicable to your account including local, long distance, 800#, or 888# access charge to reach your Internet Service Provider, any usage charges applicable under your pricing plan and any applicable taxes will continue to apply while you are online in connection with this contest.

Selection of Winners, Notification, and Odds of Winning: Winners will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries received, held once a month (on the 10th). If a registrant is selected a winner, that registrant will not be eligible to win any other Scholarship Giveaway awarded under these contests.

Contest winners will be notified by e-mail, followed by mail if necessary. An e-mail will be sent to the winner within one week after the monthly drawing. All decisions are final and binding. Should the e-mail be returned to TIYM as invalid, two more attempts will be made via e-mail and one by regular mail. Winners must contact TIYM within 30 calendar days from the date the notification is sent by TIYM to claim their Scholarship Giveaway. Failure to contact TIYM within that 30 days period will result in immediate disqualification of the selected entrant and a new winner will be selected. No exceptions will be made to this rule. TIYM may be reached in two ways; either by e-mail at tiym@aol.com or by phone at 703-734-1632. TIYM is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful effort to notify winners.

The number of eligible entries received and the number of page views of each registrant will determine odds of winning.

By accepting the Scholarship Giveaway, winners agree to the use of their names, voices, and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.

Prize: A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded every month to one winner, in the form of a check payable to the Scholarship Giveaway winner's college or university. No assignment, transfer or substitution of prize is permitted.

General Terms and Conditions: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of TIYM, which shall be final. TIYM and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for; (I) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, eligible, unintelligible, or postage due entries; (II) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (III) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (IV) any condition caused by events beyond the control of TIYM that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (V) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the Scholarship Giveaway, or acceptance, possession, or use of the Scholarship Giveaway, or from participation in the Contest; or (VI) any printing or typographical errors in any material associated with the Contest.

By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and hold TIYM and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the Scholarship Giveaway, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
